Loft – Knokke

Once a vast woodworking atelier later transformed into the home of an eccentric artist, this Knokke loft carries decades of layered history. When the property was sold after forty years, the new owners wished to preserve both its industrial legacy and its artistic soul. The concept evolved into a bold and eclectic interior that marries raw industrial character with Moroccan-inspired warmth and intimacy.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence is centered around a monumental dining table designed for hosting, complemented by multiple lounge areas, a bar kitchen, a billiard corner, and striking decorative statements—including a sculptural giraffe head chandelier—that set the tone for a sophisticated yet playful party house. The result is a colorful, daring, and dignified retreat, perfectly suited as a second residence for holidays and celebrations.

MY ROLE

I developed the overall layout and technical plans, while advising on materials, color palettes, and decorative choices. Drawing on their own renovation experience, the clients ultimately carried out the execution, with my creative input shaping the design direction.
